As many of you already know, at our recent AGM I announced that at the end of December I will be leaving JKC. I am now ready to look toward my own future and to experience some of the options that more free time may present.
Over the last 19 plus years I have felt honoured and privileged to be a part of such a wonderful organization. Working with this community of families, children and staff has both challenged and rewarded me in so many ways. I leave JKC with a sense of gratitude and accomplishment but also with apprehension and excitement. Apprehension because this has been such a significant part of my life and career, but excitement in looking forward to my new reality.
Special thanks must go to our 16/17 board of directors who have worked with me to support my transition and to ensure that JKC will continue to be a respected leader in the world of school aged child care. Over the next few months with the 17/18 board we will be working towards ensuring that the transition will be as smooth and efficient as possible and that JKC will be left in the best possible hands.
With many, many thanks to all of those who have been a part of my amazing journey here at JKC.
