Pro-d Day info for General Gordon


At the main A day of clay and a fieldtrip to our old stomping grounds! We will travel by city bus to the toy box on West Broadway to select a few new play materials for the centre. GG Bus Updates


We are now into our second full month of bussing and have had a good period of service to collect some statistics and to review and tweak our procedures. Both the AM and PM busses are working well with anywhere between 13 and 24 users daily and the majority of days carrying an average of 17 children per trip. We have refined our bus specific sign in and sign out sheets to ensure that we have secure monitoring and records of bus travelers. October 14th Pro D Day Details…Queen Elizabeth Main and Annex are headed to Science World!


A very special situation…General Gordon students have a pro d day but the Queen Elizabeth students do not! That means we are headed out on a field trip for most of the school day.  Please check our earlier post  about early morning drop off times at Bayview. *Please note* Earliest drop off time at both Queen Elizabeth sites is 8:30am. Jericho Kids’ Club General Gordon Seismic Project: Family Information February 2014


We have been aware from the outset of this project that the funding envelope agreed to by the provincial government covers only costs directly related to education. Any costs related to JKC and its services are fully our responsibility. It is important to note that we continue to actively work with VBE to pursue cost economies through collaboration. An example of this is that we have confirmed an excellent contract with VBE for the physical move of our equipment and supplies which will occur during the same time frame as the school equipment is moved. Happy December!


JKC’s annual Winterfest celebration will be enjoyed by Southlands, Bayview and General Gordon schools on Friday, December 12th from 5:45pm – 8:00pm at Bayview.  Please submit your Winterfest Form along with your payment if you are attending the pasta dinner (5:45pm-6:45pm).  The children will be performing music, plays, songs, dances, drama and so on from 7:00pm-8:00pm.  Come see what your child’s been up to while you’re at work and enjoy a night of smiles and laughter with the JKC staff!
